Did you all steer-clear of Robin Williams because you heard he was in the movie "The Fisher King"? How about "What Dreams May Come? Shit, any movie that has every single fuckin character dying in car accidents & suicides is "good" in my view, and then the movie really 'starts'! Don't confuse Robin with "Mork", okay?
i steered clear of the movie because i didn't
care for the plot. it was too predictable.
naturally i do not expect that to be any offence
to asimov... simply because i own several asimov
books and find his work great.
i like robin williams...
and the fisher king is one of my favorite
movies of all time (well, forgiiiiiiiiive me!).

it's so fucking long.... well they don't call it bicentenial for nothing.
i found it crap.
I thought it was alright, the only real thumbs-down it got was based in the motivating drive behind the storyline: robot who wants to be human. It felt too much like a Gene Roddenberry gimick, or a long drama about the Tinman in Wizard Of OZ.
